Crashing Episode 1 [Mac]
The game has been running quite choppily on my Mac since I started playing it. I lowered all the settings but it continued to be "choppy". I was put off initially when the text messed up and had to deactivate full screen but now the game is impossible to continue. When Lee wakes up from the night at the farm, he gets half way up and the game crashes....every single time. I can't change any more settings....it crashes the entire system every time I play from that point.
Any help or are my breaths wasted on telltale? |

I have just noticed this happening to another person as well who never received a reply.

I can give it a try. It will take some information to determine a possible cause.
Do you have the TTG Store, Steam or CD version? - If Steam: Please try verifying your game cache files. - If TTG Store: Please delete the app package and download it again. If that doesn't do it, please continue answering the questions below. Have you ever used any workarounds for the game? Do you get a crash log you could post here? Further please post your system information, and list of prefs.props, as described in the steps below. System Information Open a terminal (e.g. by typing terminal into spotlight). Run the system profiler to copy selected system information to the clipboard, by copying the command line below into the terminal and pressing enter: system_profiler -detailLevel mini SPHardwareDataType SPSoftwareDataType SPDisplaysDataType SPAudioDataType | pbcopy Now start a new reply to this post, and paste the clipboard into it, by pressing Command + V. Finding prefs.prop files on Mac Please search your folders for prefs.prop files as described below. Follow the steps exactly as written. - Open a terminal (e.g. by typing terminal into spotlight). Then copy and paste this command line into the terminal and press enter: find ~ -name prefs.prop |pbcopy - When it's done, the results were automatically copied into the clipboard. Start a new reply to this post. Then paste the clipboard from the clipboard into the reply, by pressing Command+V.

Steam - already verified my files.
No log, just the system completely crashes. Only basic functions, e.g. volume can be adjusted, and ambient noises are played. What you can try is uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Some people had success with that even though verifying did nothing. You can also try if playing in windowed mode helps through that scene.
