Default Transfer Save File to Slot 2?

Hi everyone.

I played The Walking Dead episodes 1 and 2 on a friend's computer over the holidays. Then I came home and a different friend started a save file on my computer in slot one. How do I transfer the save I started on my friend's computer to slot 2?

Thanks!

(I'm playing through steam and my save was from a different steam account)

There's no official way of merging savegames like that.

The best workaround is creating another user account on your PC/Mac and copying one set of savegames into its savegame folder.

Dang. That's a strange way to go about save files. The 3 slots are all saved within the same file?

There are many of savefiles and they are governed by the prefs.prop.

There's really no clean way of doing what you want to achieve. It might be possible with a variation of the Siezemore fix, but there's no way to be sure it won't mess up your game. At any rate the information about the decisions the original prefs.props store will be lost.

Therefore the best way is what i said above. Everything else risks ruining both of your savegames.

You don't need a new steam account. Just a new user account in your Windows or Mac OS X. Each user account has its own savegame folder.
