Downloading Problems for The Walking Dead on MacBook

I recently bought The Walking Dead for Mac and every I try and install the game, it shows me a screen showing "The Walking Dead" game icon on the left, a right facing red arrow, and an "Applications" icon. If I double-click on the "The Walking Dead" icon I get an error message that says, "The Walking Dead is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image." I have an option of either to Cancel or to Eject Disk Image. Obviously not a way to install the game. Next I tried to drag the "The Walking Dead" icon into the "Application" folder icon. Once it transfers into the folder, I then click on the "The Walking Dead" icon and it still does not allow me to download it or play it. What am I doing wrong?

This seems to be a problem with Snow Leopard only.
I read somewhere that if you disable Gatekeeper, it should work.
