PC retail version DRM-free?

I just found out that the retail version of The Walking Dead also came to PC, and is a Best Buy-exclusive release:

Can anyone confirm that this is completely, totally, 100% DRM-free? As in, you don't even need an Internet connection for an initial activation? I believe all of Telltale's other season-based games have been like this in the past -- Is this the same way?

I live in Poland, and i bought myself a retail copy of Sam & Max Save the World (It's season based like TWD). While i don't really know if you need an internet connection to install TWD, i know that the Sam & Max game i got, i could just simply install it without needing the internet, so maybe it's the same case with TWD.

And that's kind of what I figured, too. I hear that Telltale's retail stuff is always DRM-free, but this one seems to be kind of unknown, so it's taking me a while to decide if I want to jump in and risk it or not.

I'm waiting for an official Telltale disc release of The Walking Dead, if it will ever be released. That's the only way to be sure I guess.
I'd love a collector's edition like they did with Back To The Future.

I'm hoping GOG gets TWD. I'd love to have it there, DRM-free and all. Since the other Telltale games are there it should hopefully happen.

That's the same version as mentioned in the first post of this thread, the BestBuy version is the only PC disc version available.
