Ive never played a telltale game so im just starting this episodic stuff when does season two come out

I know there's no better term (except "episodic game series," which is a mouthful), but Telltale really shouldn't call their games "seasons." It makes people associate them with TV seasons, which in turn makes them think of a regular schedule.

Anyway, OP, the only past Telltale game to get multiple seasons is Sam and Max. Season 2 began seven months after Season 1 ended. (This was back when Telltale had a lot less on their plate.) And Season 3 began two years after Season 2 ended. So there's no real way of guessing.

What we do know is that Telltale's next game will be based on the comic book Fables, followed by a revival of the classic King's Quest series. Odds are we won't see Season 2 of The Walking Dead until these games are done, so my guess is sometime in 2014, at the earliest.

Then again, with how popular this game's been, maybe Telltale will bump Season 2 higher on their priority list. I hope they haven't forgotten King's Quest, though.

I honestly think this time 2013 November we'll probably see the 1st episode released. Unless they decide to rush it which would be disapointing.

End of next year. Fables has to come, as well as King's Quest. Let's all have Sam and Max season 4, too.

I just want to know what happened to Christa and Omid,thats the only reason I would buy the second season.For me,the story ended here.Unless Telltale manages to repeat the awesomeness and succes of the first season,which honestly,I doubt a little.

If they answer us in Playing Dead,or on Twitter what happpend to them,then Im ok.

Why 1 entire year to make a new season? Why if they don´t have to make a new engine and all?

But seriously, I think they're gonna take a break from TWD. Weren't they gonna work on another game? I think after that they'll get back to TWD. Maybe if we're LUCKY, late 2013 to early-mid 2014.

Most likely 2014. Fables is going to come, and even though I'm starting to have doubts that King's Quest is being released, something will probably replace it. Hopefully another Sam and Max season.

-Probably looks something like this:

(Early to mid 2013-Fables)
(Mid to late 2013- Another TT project-KQ?)
(2014- TWD season 2)

-We're probably not going to see season 2 for a long while.

I think that Telltale will trying to get win in VGA 2013 for the second season. I mean... Jesus... The Walking Dead are most successful project of this studio, and most profitable. I don't see any reason to stop the project for a long time.

Indeed. From a commercial view it would be stupid to not release season 2 soon.
