Default Savegame troubles (merged threads)

How do you save the game if you don't want to play it all at once?

BTW, I LOOOVE it so far. Thank you Telltale for making this game!

Hit ESC and go to Save & Load. Then use the right arrow after the numbers to select a new save space. Then click save game. It's a bit hard to click on it, the hitbox seems to be a bit off.

The Save&Load Menu is a bit of a mess.

The first slot is the autosave point. Mark the 2nd slot and hit Save Game. You might have to try it several times before the game recognizes what you are trying to do.

Default Transferring Save Files from PC to Mac - Where are they?

I'd like to transfer my save from PC to Mac. Is this possible? Where are the save files located in each OS?

Thanks!

(I started playing on PC after the Mac version wasn't working...)

Is it compatible to transfer my saved files to another computer? So that I can install the game on another computer and resume it.

0_english_chores.ttarch
0_dlog.ttarch
0_8.ttarch
0_launcher.ttarch

Are the above 4 files located in the Pack folder my saved game files?

Your save games are cross compatible no matter what computer you install the game on (with the possible exception of a Mac).

Those 4 files are not your save games. Your save games are in your My Documents->Telltale Games->Episode 1 folder along with your config settings file.

Default Saving game

Is there any way I can save the game progress?
I already managed to get to getting Arthur's hat back, and I had to quit the game for some reason and I see now I have to start it all over again.
Is there any keyboard shortcut like ALT-ENTER(windowed mode) to save the game?

Default Save files needed

I need the save files after Marty have convinced young Doc to allow Edna and his friend come over to their mansion and to deliver "soup"

Could anyone share them with me here?

Thanks in advance

Same issue as OP. Escape does nothing for me. No reaction.

UPDATE: Check if you have a gamepad or joystick connected. I have Logitech Chillstream connected and I suspect Esc does nothing because of this. Pressing Start on gamepad brought up the menu all right. There you can save and quit

On Win 7/Vista it's C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Telltale Games\Episode 1, where C is your system drive letter and [username] is the name of the account you're running the game from. On XP this will be C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\My Documents\Telltale Games\Episode 1

Press ESC and you should see this:

The game has an auto-save feature too.
