Default The Walking Dead: Save gone

Hello,

I finished Episode 2 today and started on episode 3. (spoiler incoming). At the beginning of E3 I decided to shoot the yelling lady. I then pressed escape, logged off and went to eat something. When I came back I launched the game and when I went to open my save it said 'episode 1' and it displayed yesterdays date. When I clicked it, it took me to episode 2 and it did not get the 'rewind option'. I guess the save is from the end of episode 1.

Is there any way of getting my save file back?

Short system info.

Macbook Air
1.8 Intel Core i5
8 GB Ram
OS 10.8.2

TWD purchased at http://www.macgamestore.com/

Thanks in advance for the help.

EDIT: I noticed the data.txt file is not showing the install location.

The game is installed at: macintosh HD/Applications/Macgamestore/Games/twd/TheWalkingDead

I also noticed a second prefs.prop file.

This file is located at: macintosh HD/Applications/Macgamestore/Games/twd/TheWalkingDead/Contents/Resources/Pack/default/prefs.prop

This second prefs.prop file is 19kb

The support tool was unable to identify the install location, probably because that store does something different than other versions.

Please name the full path you installed the game to.

Alright. You seem to have found the cause. Try renaming the prefs.prop
in "macintosh HD/Applications/Macgamestore/Games/twd/TheWalkingDead/Contents/Resources/Pack/default/" to prefs.prop.orig, and see if it works.

Worked like a charm.

Thank you very much for the fast response!
