I keep putting candy on her dorrstep but the king of town always eats it before she answers the door.How to you stop him from eating it?

This is a somewhat complex puzzle. Here are some hints.

Hint 1:
Do you notice where the King comes in from? Is there anything in the area that might be useful to stop him?
Hint 2:
There's a pile of loose dirt, which you can use the shovel on to turn into a hole.
Hint 3:
The King isn't stupid--he won't just wander into a hole, so you need bait.
Hint 4:
Put the candy in the hole, and see what happens
Hint 5:
So, the King isn't stupid--you'll need to disguise your hole somehow
Hint 6:
If you looked carefully when you trimmed hedges, there are hedge clippings you can pick up. Use these to cover the hole with the candy in it.
Final Hint:
Now that your trap is set and baited, go back to Bubs for more candy. Leave it on the welcome mat, and watch the fun.

It's true, but I can see why people WOULD think that you have to.

But no, you really don't. I solved this puzzle sort of automatically, but yeah. No chocolate in the hole.

after the KOT has fallen in use the jellaton on the hole and you get a noise of him eating in the most descusting way.

go to kot castles and get the shovel then dig where kot passes the loose dirt then put the hedge clippings and try to do it again. he will fall in and marzipan will take the candy and want homestar again. from there, give homestar back his phone. he will then be out the kitchen,and you can take his chef hat [on the microwave] and use it in the photo booth.

you gotta take the hedge clippings.go get the shovel from kot castle.then, last time you might have saw kot walk past the loose dirt.dig on the loose dirt with a shovel,put hedge clippings on to to the deep hole you made then,try to put the candy on the welcome mat. it will work.(note:im using internet channel...)
