Default Called Marzipan on cell too early? (possible bug?)

I'm stuck fairly early on. I picked up the cell phone after Homestar left it and called everybody, getting Marzipan to leave her house twice. Problem is that I did it *before* going to her place and triggering any dialogue about her hedge trimmers (per the walkthrough). She's not anywhere on the map (ringing the doorbell yields nothing) and all I get when I call is a resigned "I'm on my way."

Is there an alternate solution to this puzzle, or do I just have to restart and make sure I don't call until after going to her place?

If you called her on her cell, she should have gone to the track. If you go to the track, you should see her getting upset and leaving after learning it will be a few hours until the FCUTRER begins. She should then be back at her house.

I did trigger that animation, then called two or three more times to exhaust all of Strong Bad's dialogue. Now all she says is "I'm on my way" and she's not at home.

If it winds up being a bug, then delaying the ability to call Marzipan out to the field until after discussing her hedge might fix it.

When she leaves the track DON'T Call her again.

I did the same thing, if she's not at home, leave her house then go right back. Ring her doorbell and she'll tell you she's in the back. It's possible that if you don't ring the bell she might not show up back there.
