I downloaded the latest Bone demo, hoping the issue that it was having would be resolved. However, I'm still getting an error telling me it can't initialize Direct3D... I don't quite understand why, either.

I'm rather tech-savvy... I always keep my drivers up to date and all that jazz.

At any rate, it's not playing nicely with my Geforce 4 MX420. Is this card simply not supported?

Sorry to hear you're having problems.

The first step to resolving this is to find the "prefs.prop" file in your installation folder and delete it. Then try running the game again. The game should start up in a window, with anti-aliasing turned off. The anti-aliasing is probably what is causing the problem. From here you can go to the setup screen and make the game full screen again.

Let me know if this works for you!

Thanks,
Kevin

Hmmm. Tried it, same exact message.

Wish I could elaborate, but that's all there is to it.
