You drag Josh to your house to start a plan. You decide since these things can multiply into smaller versions, you should be able to collect a little sample.

You take a drop of water, collect a sample, and put it in. After a good stare you realize that the black blob is actually a bunch of small bugs! You start interrogating, but they just scream "World doination! World domination!" over and over again. Eventually, the bugs drown in the drop of water.

So, now you know what those black things are. Further actions are up to you.
