I'm really excited about Season Five. I think things are really picking up from here. Last season, I think they made a lot of stuff up as they went along, and hey, I don't blame them. Writer's block is a painful thing.

Whoa, I thought last season was one of the most solid feeling of the bunch! But who knows.

I also thought season 4 had the best writing so far
Setting the end date has been a good move for them

Can't wait for next week! (But tonight Battlestar Galactica, woohoo!)

I'll watch Lost till the end. But honestly? In a world with ghosts, teleportation and time travel, writers can do pretty much anything they want without consequence. Which can dull dramatic impact significantly.. At the end of Season 4 when Locke was dead, I didn't really feel anything because I already know his future/past ghost will be teleported from wherever to deliver a cryptic prophecy. Woo.

He won't be dead unless they move his body back ONTO the island! So says Benny.

Also Season 4 did have some stupid episodes like anything with Michael in it and the whole future Sun and past Jin trying to make it look like Jin is trying to reach the hospital in time for Sun's baby birth.

Do we really need spoiler as we can assume this thread is for all Losties who already caught up to season 4?

Aw really? That was one of the best episodes of the season. I'll still watch lost for the character and exposition. It's just good film making.

The only good episodes are anything with Desmond and Penny in it. Every other characters can kiss my butt, especially the Jack, Kate, Julie love triangle.

Don't know about that. When someone dies in Lost, they don't get back that easily (unlike another show where people die and resurrect all the time *coughheroesahem*

I have a theory that the island is outside of time. Also, the show isn't only about getting off the island anymore. It's not the island that's making them lost. It's not being there that makes them lost.
Did you guys notice when they show trailers and stuff, in the letters of LOST, there's a city? Looks like New York City. Maybe that's a clue.

Forget Farraday's law. You can change it if you want. Then again, there's the other law, "history is doomed to repeat itself". Huh, I wonder what'll happen next.
Also, when they were being shot at by flame arrows, did anyone see if anyone important was shot, or was it just some of the no-name characters? And I think Charlotte is going to die. =/

I'm not a Lost fan, but did any of you guys notice the 3 or 4 Half Life refrences? Mainly the "Why is gordon's crowbar so effective?" line (It was something like that)

Didn't notice that, but I did notice that the Hatch from Lost makes an appearance in the weapon silo at the end of HL2 Ep 2.

Anyone else rewatching the show before its last season?

Pretty interesting to see the episodes again, given what we learned from the season 5 finale!

Can't wait for 2010! Best show ever.

Any theories on how the sixth season will start?

I think that after the nuke went off, one of these things might happen:
1. All the losties that got touched by Jacob, gets transported to an alternate universe where the plane never crashed on the island.
2. The losties gets transported back in time in the 18th century when the egyptians ruled the island with the temples and four toed statues
3. The losties wakes up on mars..
All these theories are fully plausible after that SICK cliffhanger. :P
