I'm sorry to jump on the Skyrim bandwagon, but I will honestly admit that its probably one of the best games I've ever played in years.
I decided to be a Wood elf, specialising in the bow, but also making sure I had a good balance of other stuff as well.
I'll tell you one great thing about the bow, it works GREAT with sneaking.
You get a good sneak skill going, and you can get one or two heavy hits in before they even get close.
Its even better if they don't notice you, as you get 2x sneak damage on top.
(Which instakills many weaker enemies)
I've slain 3 dragons so far.
2 white dragons, and 1 black dragon.
Not all too difficult, especially since with the bow's timeslow ability I can get a good shot or two while the dragon is flying around.
And a few arrows on him when he lands, and after about 5 mins, he's dead.
Though the Black dragon caused me trouble.
Not the dragon itself, but the demon that burst out of the chest after I approached the pedestal.
He did some massive damage with fire spells, and I was honestly struggling pretty bad, but I managed to find some cover on the second or third try, and baited his fire magic into the rock to avoid damage, and popped out to nail him with some arrows before he has a chance to recast.
Killing the demon was really worth it, because his mask gives me bonuses in bow, lockpicking and alchemy.
Currently on level 11. I'm not rushing in to level unless I really feel it necessary.
Got a horse, a few thousand gold, I've accidentally killed one companion, (the wood elf. Who was awesome, since he trains your bow skill and if he's in your party, you can just take the gold back! XD (I didn't reload, as I didn't need him anymore since my bow skill was over 40 anyway).
And despite all of this, I'm STILL lost!
(Maybe I shouldn't have taken that left turn at Albuquerque)
