I finished Metroid Other M (Very glad I didn't pay full price for it. It's a good game, just not great. And not especially long either. 81% completion at 8 hours (81% meaning I didn't find all the hidden extras and stuff.)

I have Apollo Justice technically on the go, but I'm reading a book at the moment, so I haven't gone back to that after the first case. And soon I'll have those freebie GBA games to play that Nintendo promised us would be coming this month.

I finished Last Specter last week. I think it was the worst Layton game so far, but still pretty fantastic.

Kind of sad to hear. I reared up a bit in Unwound Future.

I'm normally on my PS3 when I play games but for the last several weeks I've Gone back.to my gaming PC ways, so the last week in a half I've been Playing the F2P TRIBES: Ascend Beta Nonstop.

It's taking awhile to remaster the controls again since playing TRIBES 1 one-handed but, Now that I have, All I can say is, It's good to be back and taking names again in CTF after all these years.

The story dragged a bit relative to the other games, allthough I preferred the range of puzzles compared to Unwound Future which is still think is the worst in the series

Been playing AC:Revelations, I appreciate them experimenting with new gameplay mechanics, but some of them just aren't fun like the tower defence and I'm craving the repetition of the first 2 games. Doesnt help my enjoyment having Skyrim paused on the 360, back on that now.

Wormlight FTW! Mine died like seven years ago though, so not so win in that regard but ah the memories.

They have Link's Awakening on the 3DS Virtual Console now, and a version of Four Swords that is both free until February and can be played single player. That could be very helpful in your Zelda quest, though it is a lot for just a couple of games. They have said the next handheld Zelda will be an original title though, so you may have to get a 3DS eventually

I already need to get a 3DS for Kingdom Hearts. The only questions are "When?", "How much will the price have dropped?", and "Will a new hardware revision be out by then?".

That's true, a 3DS redesign with two inbuilt circle pads (like the original should have had) seems like an inevitability, heck it's probably just around the corner. The good news is by the time it comes out the 3DS should have some decent games, like Mario 3DS Land and Mario Kart 7.

Plus the Ambassador Program is already closed. I say bide your time and pick one up when it feels right.

The circle pad is a good one, yes, but I'm also hoping for an improved battery life.

The battery life isn't as bad as people make it out to be. It beats most modern laptops, or at least my laptop. When you use it a lot you go into a routine where you have it on all day and charge it while you sleep. I have a friend who never turns his system off, partly because he doesn't have to and partly because of StreetPass, which is one of the system's most surprisingly addictive features.

It's also really easy to replace the battery with better one, the bottom panel can be taken off with a screwdriver and the batteries are not that expensive to order.

Well, shit. Rather Dashing just informed me that the Zelda 3DS, previously reported to be European-only, is coming out here in Black Friday bundles. And I'm currently without a job.

Ah, first world problems* But seriously, sounds like it is time to start saving. The 3DS version of OoT is awesome, it looks fantastic and runs so smoothly. Plus they've updated plenty of little things, like pushing giants rocks takes like half the time. And those Zelda themed systems look great.

*I say this while in the predicament of not having a job myself and also not having enough money for both Super Mario 3DS Land AND Skyword Sword**. Sometimes being a young, middle-class white male sucks so bad!

**For the record I'm going with Skyword Sword. It looks potentially unmissable.

It's nice to learn that even after all these years we can still confuse somebody's gender on these forums...

Just goes to show we haven't lost ALL our charm.

I'm sorry to jump on the Skyrim bandwagon, but I will honestly admit that its probably one of the best games I've ever played in years.

I decided to be a Wood elf, specialising in the bow, but also making sure I had a good balance of other stuff as well.

I'll tell you one great thing about the bow, it works GREAT with sneaking.
You get a good sneak skill going, and you can get one or two heavy hits in before they even get close.

Its even better if they don't notice you, as you get 2x sneak damage on top.
(Which instakills many weaker enemies)

I've slain 3 dragons so far.
2 white dragons, and 1 black dragon.

Not all too difficult, especially since with the bow's timeslow ability I can get a good shot or two while the dragon is flying around.
And a few arrows on him when he lands, and after about 5 mins, he's dead.

Though the Black dragon caused me trouble.
Not the dragon itself, but the demon that burst out of the chest after I approached the pedestal.

He did some massive damage with fire spells, and I was honestly struggling pretty bad, but I managed to find some cover on the second or third try, and baited his fire magic into the rock to avoid damage, and popped out to nail him with some arrows before he has a chance to recast.

Killing the demon was really worth it, because his mask gives me bonuses in bow, lockpicking and alchemy.

Currently on level 11. I'm not rushing in to level unless I really feel it necessary.

Got a horse, a few thousand gold, I've accidentally killed one companion, (the wood elf. Who was awesome, since he trains your bow skill and if he's in your party, you can just take the gold back! XD (I didn't reload, as I didn't need him anymore since my bow skill was over 40 anyway).

And despite all of this, I'm STILL lost!
(Maybe I shouldn't have taken that left turn at Albuquerque)

Your avatar reminds me of this:

In fact, most blue haired anime characters remind me of this.
