My Snes/N64/Gamecube (they all have the same port on them) S-Video cable arrived today!
Can only use it on the downstairs TV though, (my newer Bravia TV doesn't have a S-Video port unfortunately), and the results are just amazing.
There is slight ghosting, and a little wobble, but the picture is so much clearer, crisper and more colourful.
Yoshi's Island just looks FANTASTIC on it.
I had to set my TV to 14:9 mode, since in widescreen it stretches the image quite a bit, (but still has black bars), but this mode gives me a lovely large square image!
Also will come in handy when capturing video on it, as my capture card does S-Video as well.
So I've been playing all my favourites, a bit of Pilotwings, some Super Mario World, some Super Punchout.
Played Super Smash TV the most though!
Man is that game awesome!
Apart from the extreme difficulty its almost perfect.
I got much further than I normally do, which was pretty exciting.
I actually got to the Second boss, but I only had 3 lives left (no continues! Arrgh!), and he easily killed me.
I got Puyo Pop Fever for the DS in the post today, which I am going to play the hell out of.
Man I love a good Puzzler/stacking game!
