So I've been playing Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike Online Edition for the 360 today.
Great, fun fighting game.
I was playing this one guy, who had P1 in his name, which was cool.
He played as Ken and only Ken, which I see people do alot, and thats fine, but I like to change my characters every now and then.
(In that session I played as Dudley, Ken, Ryu, and Sean (that one was as a joke, as I kept throwing basketballs at him))
Didn't win any of the best of 7 rounds matches, but I was close a few times.
He was a very good Ken player. Pretty smart.
Stuck to some good damaging combos, lead into his super with a sweep (that I should need to learn to counter in the future! XD), good at baiting, didn't fall for all of my tricks!
Though very arrogant, as he liked to taunt when he was safe.
(Which he did less off, after I caught him a few times with a well placed hadoken! XD)
I hope that he thought I put up a good fight too.
I'd like to think I did.
I definately need a lot more practice before I can be anywhere near decent.
My execution is sloppy, but then again, I am using a Japanese square gate style stick, and if I don't practice with it a lot, I sometimes struggle to get used to it.
(Normally end up doing hadokens when i want to do Shoryukens, and vice versa. Sometimes I just end up jabbing the air! XD)
I wish Dan was in this game though.
Sure Sean is kind of like Dan, but I really love to play as Dan.
In fact, Dan should be in every fighting game.
(Imagines playing as Dan in Soul Calibur.... XD)
