Yep, It's been known for some time how to get the box down.
Normally I would guide you into thinking the right way (into solving it) with subtle hints, But this is a random puzzle, with no real logic behind the solution... It's meant to be solved by trying random things until you figure it out, that said, here is the solution. By now you should have noticed that you can aim the nunchuk gun at the whale in the field, and that doing so causes it to launch one of its infinitely replenishing water spouts. We can use that, but they only launch straight up into the air. Maybe we can alter its aim. Use the rock from the card game and hit the whale with it (bending the water spout), then use the nunchuk gun on the whale to launch the waterspout. It should hit the box and knock it off the photo booth, then just walk over and claim your prize But mind you, getting the box down is not required. It's only for one of the side "awesomeness point" puzzles.
