I've a question about the Free Episode Coupon we got when we pre-ordered Monkey Island.

Namely, does it have a time limit, and if so, how long?

I have a question - if we pre-order and get the Coupon, can a friend use it to buy the first Monkey Island episode for free, or is it limited to previous (non-MI) games?

I can't quote it because I don't remember where I saw it, but one of the TTG employees said it had a one year expiry.

The coupon lasts a year and you can give it to a friend. I think it will work with every 8,95$ Episode so it should also work with ToMI.

It should work, if they decide to sell individual episodes of ToMI. - For Wallace & Gromit you could just buy the whole series until about 4 weeks after the second episode was released. At that time Telltale started to also sell the individual episodes.
