wiiware monkey island question

i'm a uk monkey island fan, so i wondered whether if tales of monkey island's wiiware release will be worldwide?

is it definitley going to be released on the uk wiiware? or is wiiware worldwide? i know i'm asking dumb questions but i'm just a bit worried whether i'll be able to download it or not

I'm not 100% certain if it's launching on WiiWare on the same date as the PC version, but it'll probably be close.

as far as I'm aware uk wiiware releases are on mondays so we may not get it until the following monday (13th) I may be wrong though. For sure i'll be checking every day
shame my laptop is a piece of junk. ill probably end up smashing it to pieces if i buy the pc version and it ruins my monkey island experience.

same here, i'm not sure whether telltales previous wiiware games were launched at the same time as the pc. Emily mentioned that they are going to try and keep the release as close as possible.

yeah same here. My laptop struggled with sam and max, mainly on the toy mafia chase scene. I'm certain my laptop wont be able to handle the monkey island games so i'm glad i've got the option to play it on the wii. I bought a second hand, cheap as chips wii partly because of the monkey island release.

SBCG4AP's PC release was tied to the Wii release, but that lead to a lot of complaints overall because there was a finished PC game just sitting on a server somewhere waiting for Nintendo to stop scratching their bums and flip the switch on their end. SBCG4AP is their only Wiiware game so far.

Wallace and Gromit is coming out on another console download platform. The XBLA release is two episodes behind now. I'm not sure if it's the nature of XBLA or that the decision was made across all console download platforms, but W&G is obviously not being held back release-wise by its console counterpart.

The idea of the release being "as close as possible", with the PC game coming out on a different day than Wiiware releases, it's a pretty safe bet to say the two versions won't be released in step with one another.

Uk and Europe update on fridays (well, for UK, it's 11pm on Thursdays, because we are in British Summer time)
