Default Thanks for mentioning the Private Pirates

Hey there Telltale,

I just wanted to express my thanks for mentioning us loyal private Pirates in the credits of Episode 1. I, and probably all the other private Pirates would love to help in the upcomming episodes, too

Greetings,

Maui (Mighty Pirate(tm))

P.S: How about some TMI post icons for the forums.

Seems strange that they would close it. Does this mean no more Q&As with the designers like they did with Mike Stemmle?

Did they use ideas from the private pirates? I didn't join the brainstorming on the private forums. Did something made it into the game?

All the books on the Voodoo Lady's book shelf and the names for the 3 wind gods that Guybrush mentions.

Cool, I hate myself for not having joined the brainstorming.
Next time I surely will!

I find it really clever how they implemented the book names with Guybrush getting hoarse from reading the demonic titles of the books.

The PPC was cool, why was it closed?
It could serve many different purposes.

I know, it kinda defeats the purpose of it being a pre-order bonus, I thought it was going to last through the season with the pre-order people getting more bonus behind the scenes goodies throughout.

After activating the various strange idols around the island. I believe they were "The wind that blows your hat off." "Broken wind." and "The wind that makes you regret wearing shorts."

Oh, those. I thought you were talking "actual" names, like, I don't know Wexmacootl or something like that.

Look at the books in the voodoo lady's shack. Some of the book titles us private pirates came up with made it in. I don't think any of mine made it in, though... Oh well. "Hex and the City" was one of them.

Congratulations to those private pirates who did get their book titles in!

Does anyone know if it reads the same book titles on every playthrough? Don't suppose they randomise them?

I'm sure I read one on the forum that wasn't in when I played.

Seems like the book titles are the same (and in the same order) every time you play.
Oh, there should have been more... things like that are so funny. I loved the Phatt library in MI2.

Anyway, congratulations to every pirate whose names and titles has made it into the game and BIG THANX to Telltale Games for mentioning us in the Credits!!!

I would also like to to add my thanks to this thread, I was grinning from ear to ear when I spotted my book suggestions on the voodoo lady's shelf. I'm am still smiling now and will be for a looooong time to come.

I enjoyed the first episode immensely and can't wait for part 2. Well done to the team, I can barely believe that Monkey Island is really back!
