just bought - need a lil info
Hey all,
i juts downloaded and started up monkey island. and what i actually expected was that i was going to play a re-make of the original game containing meathook and the likes. i just vanquished lechuck and got dropped off an island w a zombiehand. did i buy the wrong chapter or am i missing something hope anyone can answer my questions indi |

Hi,
Tales of Monkey Island is not a remake of the old series. These are completely new episodes. But there is a remake in the making by LucasArts. It's called "Monkey Island Special Edition". Here is the link: http://www.lucasarts.com/games/monkeyisland/ |

If you're not happy with what you bought, I'm sure you'll be able to email Telltale and get a refund. Or you could keep what you got; the game's really quite good.
As others have said, the game you intended to buy was The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, which will be released on Steam on July 15th. |

thnx for all your quick replies. and i apologize for given certain peeps headaches and thanking them for sharing it with me. Too bad they can't understand it might be a bit confusing with two similar games with money island in them to be pretty newly released in july.
it surely isnt disapointing to some level. but i do regret the purchase to some extent thnx all |
