Same problem as everyone...using steam.
So I bought/play this game through steam and when I click, it simply crashed well preparing the game. I added the prof thing to the game folder in my steamapps? There is no telltales game folder for me. I'm on vista and its in my programx64/steam~ etc.

You should be able to find the telltale folder in \My Documents\Telltale Games\Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 1 (or something similar). Is that not there at all?
