I wonder if it was intended that DeSinge was stuck upside down, so everyone would start the puzzle by trying to stick the weathervane into his

Hmm gotta go back in and try that.

I just examined weathervane again right next to De Singe. You can easily see the only face that hasn't been used yet.

For a horrible second, I actually wondered if the guys at Telltale were wicked enough to make me stick the weathervane down his... well, you get the picture. What a relief!
ON the other hand, ToMI is definitely the most "adult" of the games so far. Sex life of Voodoo Lady, masochism, innuendos... Guybrush is finally growing up! ;P

Haha I LOVED de Singe. I mean, he's supposed to be sado-masochistic, that's why he's named after the Marquis de Sade.
Everything about de Singe was hilarious and slightly inappropriate. How about the masochistic monkey that loved being electrocuted?

That's what I did too, but it was a pain using it again and again to see the picture though.

It was the only puzzle that actually fooled me, and took me a while to figure it out.
Well done!

I did notice that de Singe was making funny noises, but it didn't make sense to me that these would have anything to do with getting the wheels in the right place.
I actually solved the puzzle by leaving the room and looking at the weather vane to check the combination.

It didn't occur to me that I wasn't following the "intended" solution until I read this thread...

Oh, man! I've completed that puzzle in a totally different way: in fact, I just looked at the weather vane and looked at the only face that I could clearly see. That's the same face you get solving the puzzle in the other (I think the best) way.

Yeah, I did the weather vane method too. I didn't even notice that each of his sounds corresponded to the correct side, but it makes sense now that I read it.

One of the few puzzles in the game I got straight away... Should I see a shrink?

I laugh when the monkey pressed the electric button after I left.

I solved it by the sounds. Once I found out I couldn't use the vane in the same way as the other wheel puzzles, I looked for an alternate cue.

I almost turned the sound down, but thought I could solve it quickly enough.
That is just when my wife said, "What the hell are you playing?"

That was hilarious. You should have left the music on. That could even lead to divorce.

Well, if it could have led to a a divorce that whoulmd mean your wife had already doubts about your sexual preferences...

anyway, this puzzle was so wicked so great.

I sort of wish this scene would have been with Sam&Max. That would have been mind blowing I guess!!
