haha Yes, I don't think I ever laughed so hard at a puzzle in this series than that!

I think we all tried sticking the weather vane in his... you know. (I mean, that's what first came to mind and I was like 'nooo waayyyyy') haha

And then those sounds... xD aahhaha

I think the disturbing part of this puzzle is when it's available on Wiiware and some parent downloads it for their five year old. Although the kid will probably be fine with it. The other amazing thing is Telltale managed to make amputation funny. Although I am surprised they didn't make a "Roman Holiday" reference with the hole in the portal to the wind machine. Does that show restraint, or did they just not think of it?

Oh oh yeah, hmm Sam&Max off course, what else could have I meant?

For the kids, I think they won't understand the all meaning of those groans.
I personally loved the way guybrush can't "plug" the weather vane. The acting is sooooooo good on this phrase

I've never seen (nor heard of) Roman Holiday, so I lean towards they did not think of it

There's something in the eyes and the eye lashes, maybe they wear the same mascara, who knows!

My problem with this one was I totally thought you still had to find a new lid for it. I scoped out the tar barrel lid and definitely thought I could get it off somehow. Finally I just held the weather vain up, got the first and second row, but after the first row "moaned" I got it. Was a bit scorned though that I tried to hard to find a replacement piece. The other ones by pattern led me to think that I had to find a replacement.

Still thought it was great though

Everything about de Singe was hilarious and slightly inappropriate. How about the masochistic monkey that loved being electrocuted?
I'm currently replaying Sam and Max S2E5, and I noticed a reference to De Sade. While in Hell, you can ask Max if he's heard the latest, and he'll respond that he heard the Marquis de Sade was demoted after his inappropriate behavior at the company Christmas party. >.< Looks like Telltale's been wanting to make jokes about the guy for a while now.

Heh, it may be wrong but I never like Telltale quite so much as when they're being inappropriate.

de Singe's voice became so hi sometimes, I thought it was the sound screwing up... my hat goes off to Jared Emerson-Johnson.

I think Nurse Edna should've made an appearance in de Singe's lab. That's the kind of thing she goes in for.

You were meant to solve it with sounds like you did, Anne. The more complex way of solving it, is to use the weather-vein like you did in the second map puzzle. If you look really close at the weather-vein, there are two faces showing. You would have used one of the faces before. The other face is the solution to this puzzle. I don't think this is the way it was meant to be solved because it might be really difficult or impossible to make out the faces on the lowest resolution and graphics setting, since they are so small.
