When trying to break the unbreakable bottle, obviously, you try to pick up the horn, say "Look a three-headed monkey!" Guy looks. Catches you.

However, when I tried to use the unbreakable bottle on the horn (before I had the horn in my inventory) Guybrush used the horn and broke the bottle. However, I didn't have the horn in my inventory afterward and the guy was standing there the whole time. I eventually went back and got the horn with the cannon, but this set me back a good bit because I thought I was done with the horn.

Anyone else experience this?

Something similar happened to me. I tried distracting him and grabbing it while he wasn't looking. It didn't work but right after that out of nowhere Guybrush had the horn and was trying to break it but couldn't because of his hand. I check my inventory and the horn wasn't in there, it was still sitting there on the table. I think we should call this the ghost horn...bug.

I encountered another bug: sometimes the voodoo bird said his sentence, but the audio was missing. It happened three times.

Yep my roommate had the same thing. I did it in the bug free fashion but he came asking me about the issue.

Seems to be a really weird bug of some sort.

Perhaps a glimpse of a mega-monkey mode we're experiencing here?

I had the same experience, exact the same thing happened here. I tried to distract him first so I clicked on the horn and suddenly I broke my unbreakable bottle.

Yeah, I had the same thing happen with me, too.

I had two slight bugs with the idols:

1. I took off the weather vane before using the clam and the weather vane reappeared and fell into my pocket XD

2. I managed to use one of the clams twice and the idol magically came back up and went down again with the cutscene with the guy feeling cold appearing twice. Couldn't do it a third time however.

Neither of these caused any major problems and I managed to complete it so that's all good

I also experienced the bottle/horn bug and the bird dialogue bug. The first helped more than it hindered progress. The second was not too much of an issue since I had the subtitles on.
