These are the official rules of The Walking Dead 'Chance to Join the Cast' (the "Promotion") for The Walking Dead (the "Game.")
In these rules, "we," "our," and "us" refer to Telltale, Inc. ("Telltale"), the sponsor of the Promotion. "You" refers to an eligible participant in the Promotion. No other companies or individuals are sponsors of this Promotion.
1. Start and End Dates: Join the Cast starts on 03/19/12 and ends at midnight (PST) on 04/23/12 ("the Promotion Period").
2. Eligibility Requirements:
You are eligible to enter this Promotion if you meet the following requirements at the time of entry:
You are a not a resident of a jurisdiction or country where this Promotion is prohibited. You are at least 18 years or older. You are not an employee or agent of Telltale nor are any of your immediate family. If you are chosen as a cast member, you will be required to sign a release (the "Release"), which grants Telltale the right (but not an obligation) to use your name and likeness in an upcoming episode of the Game and also, at Telltale's option, the exclusive right to use your name and likeness in advertising, marketing and promotion for the Game including, without limitation, on the telltalegames.com website. Telltale may edit your likeness without your permission or consent. Except as set forth herein, you will not receive any compensation or other consideration for the rights granted by you with respect to Telltale's use of your name and likeness. The right for Telltale to use your name and likeness (as set forth herein) will be irrevocable, worldwide and will last in perpetuity. You agree to provide Telltale with a photograph of your likeness, and Telltale may retain that photograph.
This Promotion is subject to all applicable national, federal, state, provincial, territorial and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. Awarding of any prize is subject to verification of the winner. Your failure to sign a Release within ten (10) days after Telltale contacts you at the address you provided disqualifies you from the Promotion, and Telltale is free to select another winner from the entries received (and you will be entitled to no further consideration). By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Telltale. Any prizes awarded have no cash value. Winners will be announced within forty-five (45) days of the end of the Promotion Period.
3. Promotion Registration:
You will be automatically entered into the Promotion if you purchase a pre-order of the Game from Telltale on its www.telltalegames.com website.

Mailed registrations must be postmarked by 04/23/12 to be eligible. Any attempted form of entry into this Promotion other than as described is void. Telltale is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or incomplete entries. Telltale is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of entrants. If for any reason the Internet portion of the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Telltale which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Promotion, Telltale reserves the right at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and to award all prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to (or after, if applicable) action taken by Telltale.
4. LIMITATION ON ENTRIES
Any entrant who attempts to register under multiple identities will be disqualified from participation in the Promotion and all entries by that entrant will be void.
5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Winners will be selected randomly from all entries. Telltale may advise prospective voters of criteria upon which selection will be based.
Only one grand prize winner will be selected. Up to 5 additional winners will be selected (at Telltale’s discretion). The grand prize winner will be modeled in-game as a human cast member, who is killed and becomes a zombie. Any additional winners will be modeled as in-game zombies.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating in this Promotion, you agree to release Telltale and its employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Promotion. All entries are sent at your own risk and Telltale cannot accept liability for any loss of or damage to any Submitted Material.
7. DISPUTES
You agree that any claim or controversy arising out of or related to the Promotion shall be settled by expedited binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Such arbitration shall take place in Marin County, California, and you waive any claim that such forum is inconvenient. Any such claim or controversy shall be arbitrated solely on an individual basis and shall not be consolidated with a claim of any other party. The Arbitrator may not change the terms of this Agreement and may not award any injunctive or other equitable relief.
8. PRIVACY
Telltale's Privacy Policy will apply to this Promotion and to all information that we receive from your entry. Please read the Privacy Policy on the telltalegames.com website before submitting your entry. Your submission of an entry will constitute your acceptance of these Official Rules and the terms of the Privacy Policy located at: www.telltalegames.com/privacypolicy.
9. DISCLAIMERS
By entering the Promotion, you agree and acknowledge to be bound by the Official Rules, as well as the decisions of Telltale which are final and binding in all respects; to waive any rights to claim ambiguity with the Official Rules, and that Telltale shall have no responsibility or liability (including, but not limited to, liability for property loss, damage, personal injury or death) in connection with: participation in the Promotion; technical or mechanical error(s) on the website; typographical error(s) in Promotion promotional material; acceptance/possession, defects, and/or use/misuse of prizes, human error; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information; any technical malfunction(s) of the telephone service, telephone network, computer online system, computer equipment, software, or internet service provider utilized by Telltale or by you; interruption or inability to access the Promotion, any Promotion-related web pages, or any online service via the internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems; any damages to your (or any other person's) computer and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of the Promotion; any lost/delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects; and/or any other errors or malfunctions, even if caused by the negligence of Telltale. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Telltale from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Promotion and to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against Telltale with respect to the prizes won (including any property loss, damage, personal injury, or death). Telltale shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity that may be caused or contributed to: (i) by any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of Telltale, or any of its respective agents, servants, employees or independent contractors; (ii) by any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any other person or entity not an employee of Telltale; or (iii) by any other cause, condition or event whatsoever beyond the control of Telltale.
