Hello I am new to this website, I have a question about downloading the episodes from this website. I am guessing to do so you will have to have an stream account?

No, you do not need a Steam account. Once you've purchased a game from this website, you will be able to download it from your "My Games" page (which you can access, by clicking on the down arrow at the top-right of this page - to the left of the "Notifications" icon - then on "My Games").

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I'll try to answer the question anyway. ;)

For the first episode of any Season, you go to your account to the "My Games" page and download the installer for the game. That usually is an executable file which allows you to install that episode. You'll have to be online when you first start up the game, and you'll have to log in with your account data. As soon as this is done, you will also be able to play offline completely.

For the second and subsequent games, it depends on how old the game is. All games following Law & Order, including the TWD series, download future episodes from within the game. All the former games have seperate installers for each episode, and you can download these from your My Games page.

    ...did that help??

Addition: There have in recent games been some problems with the Telltale Store's previously absolutely reliable offline services. Some players have reported that it doesn't work as intended any more and they have to be online when they want to play. This seems to be some verification bug Telltale will likely fix in the near future. There are some LEGAL workarounds for this, deleting the prefs.prop file in TWD Season 2 and TWaU seems to help, but I'd rather wait for an official fix for this.

/edit: Ahhhhhh, a STEAM account, not a STREAM account!! Let me collect my wits from the floor on that one.
